I think I might be back

I'm still having a hard time believing that such a simple fall could end up eating 3 months of my life, but I think now I can say I'm back. At least on my way to being back.

My cast came off about a month ago and now I'm working hard on PT to get back all of the movement I lost when my arm was immobilized in a cast for 2 months. And when I say working hard, I mean it's nearly a full time job. When you factor in all the exercises I'm supposed to do every 2 hours, plus the time I've got to have my hand in some sort of progressive splint (which I call the torture splint), it adds up to nearly 7 hours a day. Insane!

But... instead of focusing on the time I lose every day to stretches and splint, I'm going to focus on what I can do now that I couldn't do 2 months ago. Let's start with sitting comfortably on the couch. Showering myself. I'm very fortunate that our customised shower dimensions means I have plenty of room in the shower and don't feel like I'm going to fall out of it at any moment! Getting dressed without assistance. TYPING WITH TWO HANDS. I feel a little like a superwoman, ha!

Nothing much else to say in this post... BUT, when I was cleaning photos off my phone last week I came across a series of pics I took back in the winter with full intention of writing a tutorial. Yay!! I'm hoping to have it up in the next few days.

When you're finally done with PT, you won't know what to do with all the time you've gotten back!
